He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Vaughan and Mary Vaughan (Peters); his son Charles Vaughan; and his siblings, Constance Benge, Elaine Romberg and Stephen Vaughan.
He is survived by: his children, Paul Vaughan of New Bedford, Wesley Vaughan of Freetown, Joel Costa of New Bedford, Tammy Isherwood of Acushnet and Jody DeLuca of Narragansett; and his sisters, Lottie Joseph of New Bedford, Virginia Santo of Fairhaven, Betty Stebenne of New Bedford and Norma Tripp of Westport. He is also survived by several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
