He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert "Bat" Vilela and Mary Louise Vilela (Montgomery). He is survived by: his children, Derek Vilela (April) of New Bedford, Justin Vilela of Fall River, Joshua Vilela of Fall River and Alexis Vilela of Somerset; his brothers, Scott Vilela (Melanie Moore) of Fall River and Randall Vilela (Colleen) of Swansea; and his grandchildren, Travis, Krista, Destiny Myles and Derek. He is also survived by four great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
