He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Tavares and Grace Tavares (Bower); and his siblings, Edmund J. Banville and Claire A. Morin. He is survived by: his wife Cecile; his children, Bruce A. Tavares (Chassity) of Somerset, Susan M. Tavares of New Mexico and Patricia Demers of Fall River; his grandchildren, Kerrie McFeeters, Katelyn Champine and Spencer Tavares; and his great grandchildren, Clara Champine and Connor McFeeters. He is also survived by nieces & nephews.
