Alice P. Castanho Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Alice P. Castanho (Fall River, Massachusetts), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 16, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband John M. Castanho; her parents, Manuel Arruda and Gilberta Arruda (Pereira); and her siblings, Joseph Arruda and Mary Rodrigues.
She is survived by: her children, John A. Castanho (Eileen) and Sharon Beavis (Jim); her grandchildren, John Castanho (Sarah), Justin Castanho and Taylor Beavis; and her sisters, Joan Roy and Madeline Dias. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Oliveira Family Funeral Homes & Cremation Service - Columbia (215 Columbia St, Fall River, MA 02721). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 8:30 AM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Santo Christo Church (185 Canal St, Fall River, MA 02721).
