He was predeceased by: his wife Phyllis Cardoza (Copley); his parents, Antonio Cardoza and Purifucation Cardoza (Lopes); and his siblings, Emily and Edmund Cardoza.

He is survived by: his children, Linda Massoud of Fall River, Arlene Carreiro (Joe) of Fall River and Gary Cardoza of Fall River; his grandsons, Joseph Carreiro (Ashley) of Fall River, Kevin Carreiro (Rachael) of Assonet and Adam Carreiro (Ashley) of Fall River; and his great grandchildren, Owen, Nick, Mason, Cameron, Adriana, Chance, Harrison and Maddox.
