He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Tavares Branco and Urania; and his siblings, Jose Branco, Maria Silva and Lucia Botelho.
He is survived by: his sons, Antonio Jose Rego of Fall River, Paul Rego of Fall River, Emanuel Rego of Fall River and Luis Rego of London, England; and his brother Arthur Tavares of Fall River. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
