He was predeceased by: his spouses, Alexandrina and Conceiçao (Tavares); and his parents, Jose Teixeira DeSousa and Helena Encarnaçao (Mota). He is survived by: his children, Filomena Furtado (Jorge) of Somerset, Antonio Sousa (Ana) of Somerset, Eduardo Sousa (Maria) of Rehoboth and Lurdes Paiva (Manny) of Fall River. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; nieces & nephews.
