He was predeceased by: his wife Lorraine Mariette Moniz (Desrosiers); his parents, Mary Adeline (Rego) and Manuel Moniz; and his siblings, Mary Brazil (Manuel), Adeline Amaral (Eugene), Evangelina Freitas (Antone), Charles Moniz (Maria Dolores) and Dennis Moniz (Barbara).
He is survived by: his children, Steven Moniz (Karin) and Susan Ducharme (Carl); his grandchildren, Kristen Wells (Jonny), Justin Moniz Benjamin Moniz (Suzanne), Emma Moniz Cara Ducharme and Jennifer Ducharme; his great grandchildren, Arianna Ducharme, Julianne Gonzales and Ian Ducharme; and his siblings, John Moniz (Karen) and Louise Roque (late Manuel). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
