He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Regeira and Guilhermina Regeira (Pimental). He is survived by: his wife Besides; his daughter Vanessa Regeira; and his sisters, Lucy Barboza (Joao), Helen Torres (Antonio) and Hortense Costa (Hermino). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
