He was predeceased by: his parents, Melquiades Fernando and Florentina Fernando (Ysaac); and his brother Roberto Fernando. He is survived by: his wife Dr. Leonila Fernando (Alpuerto); his children, Dr. Carla Fernando-Gilday of Albany, NY, Christel Gwynne (Patrick) of Mansfield, MA and Michael Fernando (Linda) of Brewster, MA; his brother Danilo Fernando (Teresita) of Manila, Philippines; and his grandchildren, Sebastian, Grace, Olivia, Sean, Sydney and Xavier. He is also survived by niece and several nephews.
