He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert W. Canedy and Mary Canedy (Dolan); and his siblings, Albert "Butch" W. Canedy Jr., Sherril "Buck" Canedy and Phyllis M. Canedy.
He is survived by: his wife Sheila Canedy (Gauthier); his children, Eric Canedy (Erica) and Heather Pelletier (Keith); and his grandchildren, Austin Collins, Trinity Pelletier, Hunter Canedy and Lexi Canedy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
