With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donna Rita Bernard of Fall River, Massachusetts, who passed away on April 23, 2026 at the age of 61. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Donna's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Donna has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Adelard, Cecilia Winifred Bernard, Armand and Rita Lafleche. She is survived by: her parents, Paul Bernard (Janet Cullen) and Gloria Thomas (Gary Thomas). She is also survived by loving aunt to her four nephews and one niece, and a great-aunt to her three great-nephews and one great-niece.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 12th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Waring-Sullivan Cherry Place Funeral Home (178 Winter St, Fall River, MA 02720). A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, June 15th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. George Cemetery.
