She was predeceased by: her parents, James Lewis and Eleanora Lewis (Alua); her siblings, James, Ernest, Joseph and Pearl; her husband Donald L. Hanson; and her son-in-law John Faria.
She is survived by: her sister Gail Desmarais (Arthur) of Florida; her children, Donald G. Hanson and Patricia Faria; her grandchildren, Quinn Hanson (Surya Isaza-Figueroa) and Briana Ferreira Evan (Scott Bazinet); her great grandchildren, Anaias, Quill, Ilo, Ezekiel, Takota and Elliana; her caregiver Chloe Alfonso; her friends, Dorothy and Doris Sakell; Melanie Hanson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Waring-Sullivan Home (178 Winter St, Fall River, MA 02720). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Bernard's Church (30 S Main St, Assonet, MA 02702).
