She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Purcell and Mary Carmen Purcell (Valton); her stepmother Helen Purcell (Valton); her son Richard Murphy; and her sisters, Josephine Machado and Elizabeth Kaliff.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kathleen Arruda and MaryEllen Montville; her siblings, Cynthia Purcell Costa (Carlos), Martin Purcell, Michael Purcell and James Purcell; and her grandchildren, Danny Hayes, Jason Murphy, Karalee Uribe (Ismael), Matthew Wadsworth, Ashley Wadsworth (Joshua Vierling) and Alex Carmona. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
