She was predeceased by : her spouses, Luis and Rego Almeida; her parents, Manuel Medeiros Almeida and Guilhermina Almeida (Cabral); her child Dimas M. Almeida; and her sibling Dimas Medeiros.

She is survived by : her children, Maria Medeiros (Manuel) of Fall River, Lydia Couto (Don Drake) of Fall River and Luis Almeida (Linda) of Fall River; and her siblings, Margaret Sousa of East Providence, RI, Migual Almeida of Somerset, Manuel Almeida of Fall River, Jose Almeida of Fall River, Luisa Pires of Dartmouth, Julio Almeida of Arkansas, Tony Almeida of Assonet and Mary Estrella of Rehoboth. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 9th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Fall River Chapel (730 Bedford St, Fall River, MA 02720). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 9th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Silva-Faria Funeral Home (730 Bedford St, Fall River, MA 02720).
