It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ema P. Melo of Fall River, Massachusetts, who passed away on March 26, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Virgilio G. Melo; her parents, Arthur Pereira and Conceicao Pereira (Linhares); and her brother Arthur Pereira. She is survived by: her daughters, Luisa Harris (William), Maria Reed (Michael) and Sandra Reis Ferreira (Mark); her grandchildren, Jason Faria (Marena), Joshua Faria (Lilya), Jacob Ferreira (Jessica), Joshua Ferreira (Tracey), Alexandria Reis (Matthew Mendonca), Bethany Kozoka (Carlin) and Meghan Reed (Richard Baah); her great grandchildren, Hannah, Elliot, Neeko, Cole, Gabriella, Philip and Carter; and her siblings, Zelia Oliviera, Edward Pereira, Luis Pereira, Joseph Pereira, John Pereira and Fernanda Gouveia. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
