He was predeceased by: his wife Maria Isabel Medeiros of Anne's Hospital; his parents, Jacinto Pedro Medeiros and Adelaide Medeiros (Perpetua); and his siblings, Maria, Antonio Medeiros and Carlos Medeiros.
He is survived by: his children, Cristina Raposo (late Tony) of Fall River, Elsa Andrade (Robert) of Fall River, Paula Cormier (Brian) of Fall River, Carmen Melo (Diamantino) of Westport, Emanuel A. Medeiros (Bethany) of Swansea and Sandra Medeiros (Timothy Rosa) of Fall River; his grandson Nicholas Raposo; his siblings, Fernando Medeiros (Alzira) of Canada, Adelino Medeiros (late Eulalia) of Fall River, Carmen Umbelina (Luis) of Dartmouth, Adelaide Pacheco (Jose) of Canada and Gabriela Medeiros of Dartmouth; and his sister-in-law Margaret Medeiros.
