She was predeceased by: her parents, William C. Avila and Helen Silvia Avila Allard of Fall River; and her sister Ruth Avila, RN of Reno. She is survived by: her sisters, Lois Needham Wilding, RN of Fall River and Rebecca McGuire (Joseph McGuire) of Berkley. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
