He is survived by: his wife Besides; his children, Sandra Cordeiro (Mark) of Fall River, Gorete Carreiro (Duarte) of Fall River and Nuno Moniz of Chicago; his grandchildren, Kelly Carreiro, Brian Carreiro, Savannha Chaves (Cordeiro) and Shawn Cordeiro; and his sisters, Fatima Cordeiro (Carlos) of Westport, Olga Alves (Joe) of Westport and Alzira Pontes (Adelino) of Canada. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
