With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Evelina Sardinha of Fall River, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 8, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Manuel Sardinha; her parents, Jose A. Silva and Irene Botelho Silva; her son Jose Sardinha; and her brother Jose Silva.
She is survived by: her children, Eduardo Gonçalves (Alda) of Fall River, Guilherme Gonçalves (Claire) of Westport, David Goncalves (Irene) of Fall River, Emmanuel Gonçalves (Ana Maria) of Fall River, Carlos Gonçalves (Maria Maralen) of Swansea, Fernando Gonçalves (Ana) of Swansea, Fátima Moniz (Antonio) of Fall River, Mariana Miguel (Tony) of Swansea and Helena Oliveira (Humberto) of Swansea; and her siblings, Armando Silva, Eduardo Silva, Maria Ines Machado and Judite Silva. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the Silva-Faria Funeral Home (730 Bedford St, Fall River, MA 02720). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Anthony of Padua Church (48 16th St, Fall River, MA 02723).
