He was predeceased by: his wife Celestyna Czerwonka; his parents, Stanislaw Czerwonka and Aniela Czerwonka (Klin); and his siblings, Helena, Marysia, Anna and Wladzia.

He is survived by: his daughter Ann Bielawski (Richard); his grandsons, Richard Bielawski (Johanna) and Robert Bielawski (Alicja); his great grandchildren, Lucas and Teagan; and his brother Franciszek Czerwonka.
