He was predeceased by: his parents, Antone J. Lopes and Edna Lopes (Medeiros); and his brothers, Antone Lopes (Helen) and George Lopes (Pauline). He is survived by: his wife Rita Lopes (Valois); his children, Mark Lopes of Nantucket, Debra Hart of Fall River and Raymond Lopes of Fall River; his sisters, Mary Wetherell (late Crawford "Babe") of Westport and Genevieve Ksen (Paul Deforge) of Fall River; and his grandchildren, Chad Hart of New Bedford, Jameson Hart (Vanessa) of Swansea and Brittany Hart of Fall River. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
