He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Giaconetti and Barbara Giaconetti (McCall); and his brother Robert Giaconetti. He is survived by: his wife Abby Giaconetti (Thurston); his children, Alysia Luther of Fall River, Mary Giaconetti of Tiverton, Joel Giaconetti of Tiverton and Peggy Giaconetti of Tiverton; and his grandchildren, Haileigh Braz, Joshua Quintal and Maddie Quintal. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
