George L. Giroux Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of George L. Giroux (Fall River, Massachusetts), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 2, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Rolande Giroux (Pelletier); his parents, Aldei Giroux and Alice Giroux (Potvin); his children, Gary G. Giroux and Leslie V. Giroux; and his siblings, Richard Giroux and Berthe Thibault.
He is survived by: his children, Gayle A. Thorley (Stephen) of Syracuse, NY and Douglas P. Giroux of Swansea; his daughter-in-law Christine Giroux of Bangor, ME; his grandchildren, Nicole, Leslie, Max Giroux, Michaela, Luke Thorley and Justin Murphy; his great grandchildren, Caleb Crisman, Mackenzie, Addison Murphy, Cailahnni Duchaney and Caiya Coulombe; and his sister Muriel McManus of New Bedford.
