He was predeceased by: his son Robert Heaberlin; his grandson Bobby; his brother Arthur; and his parents, Theophane Lavoie and Lucie Lavoie (Gagnon).
He is survived by: his children, Jeffrey Heaberlin, George W. J. Lavoie (Katherine) and Ronna Lemieux-Biello Richard (Louis Sikorsky); his grandchildren, Darlene, Heather, Bobby Jr., Jeffrey, Melissa, George, Christina, Bryttany, Abagael, Alexandria and Richard; and his siblings, Lucille Demers, Yvette Berube, Henri, Wilfrid, Dr. Philippe, Brother Robert Lavoie, S. C. and Claire Neves. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
