With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gil S. Nogueira of Fall River, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 21, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Maria Fatima Noguiera (Furtado); his parents, Manuel Teixeira Nogueira and Gloria Nogueira (Silva); his children, Michelle Nogueira Pais (Richard) of Fall River, Lori Ann Nogueira of Fall River and Jeff Nogueira (Juanita) of Fall River; his grandchildren, William, Jia, Landyn, Arianna, Kyngston, Chace and Phoenix; and his siblings, Maria F. Pereira (Nuno) of Westport, Norberto Nogueira (late Lucia), Joe Teixeira (Normanda) of Dartmouth, Octavio Silva Teixeira (Maria Jose) of Agua Retorta, Manuel Teixeira and Louis Nogueira. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the Silva-Faria Funeral Home (730 Bedford St, Fall River, MA 02720). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Anthony of Padua Church (730 Bedford St, Fall River, MA 02720).
