She was predeceased by: her spouse Nascimento Brum; her parents, Joao of Sousa Tavares and Maria; and her siblings, Irene Amaral, Conceicao Lima, Belmira Carreiro and Manuel Tavares.
She is survived by: her children, Connie Rego (late David) of Fall River, Amy Cabral (Tony) of Somerset, Mary Cordeiro (James Petrosso) of Swansea, Maryjo Medeiros (Leonard) of Westport, Fatima Cabral of Fall River and Emanuel Brum (Bonnie) of Somerset; her sister Coltide Reis of Canada; her grandchildren, Jason Cabral, Patti Rego, Karen Botelho, Tracey Ferreira, Keri Medeiros, Jordan Medeiros, Aaron Cabral and Joshua Brum; and her great grandchildren, Jackson Ferreira, Kayla Botelho, Kory Botelho, Olivia Medeiros and Maxine Platt. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
