She was predeceased by: her husband Gil Caetano Pereira of Anne's Hospital; and her father Manuel Cordeiro. She is survived by: her children, Gilda Medeiros (Joe) of Fall River, Luis Pereira (Sandy) of Fall River, Gabriel Pereira (Tina) of New Bedford, Gil Pereira (Lee) of Fall River, Paul Pereira (Darlene) of Fall River and Carlos Pereira (Mariana) of Westport; her grandchildren, Monique, Philip, Kyle, Eric, Jake, Ryan and Briana; and her great grandchildren, Josiah and Olivia.
