He was predeceased by: his wife Laura DeFaria (Cabral); his parents, Manuel Jose DeFaria and Alizra Tavares DeFaria; his children, Emanuel DeFaria and Eleuterio DeFaria; his grandson Brandon DeFaria; and his siblings, Emanuela Amaral, Manuel Faria, Humberto Faria, Norman Faria and Eleuterio Faria.

He is survived by: his children, Laura Bradley (John Bradley), David DeFaria (Tina DeFaria), Albert DeFaria and Michael DeFaria; his grandchildren, Chad Neubauer, Rachael DeFaria, Andrew DeFaria, Brittney Lambert, Kelly DeFaria, Abigail Bradley, Emma Bradley, Katherine Cifuentes, Brian DeFaria and Damon DeFaria; and his sibling Andriana Ferreira.
