She is survived by: her children, Roberto Bess of New Bedford, Betty Bess of Fall River and Lissette Colon (Pedro) of Florida; her brother Guissi Vega of Puerto Rico; and her grandchildren, Leslie, Curtis, Dustin, Chanae, Noah and Lailah. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and many dear friends.
