We announce the death of James DeCosta of Fall River, Massachusetts, who passed away on October 9, 2026, at the age of 84. He was loved and cherished by many people including: wife: Deolinda H. (Amaral) DeCosta; parents: Frank & Sarah DeCosta; daughters: Sandra DeCosta and Linda Ann Cote; siblings: Everett DeCosta, Barbara Thorpe, and Pamela DeCosta; sisters-in-law: Marion Crowley and Sheila Torren; grandchildren: Tricia Tavares (Patrick Tavares), Cheryl Cowen, and Jeremy Cowen-Hubbard (Anna Cowen-Hubbard); great-grandchildren: Zoe, Cali, Emmi, Adriannah, Kaleb, Noah, and Sophia; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home (1521 N Main St, Fall River, MA 02720). A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
