He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo R. Dubreuil and Lydia Dubreuil (Banville); and his siblings, Irene Wright, Leo Dubreuil, Lucille Dubreuil, Francis Dubreuil and Michael Dubreuil.
He is survived by: his son Jordan R. Dubreuil; his daughter-in-law Jessica Dubreuil (Combs); his sister Claudette Rowland; his grandchildren, Aydalee, Daxton and Leona; Patricia Dubreuil (Cieplik). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Oliveira Family Funeral Homes & Cremation Service - South Main (2064 S Main St, Fall River, MA 02724). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 8:45 AM to 9:15 AM at the same location. A Mass was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. George's Church (12 Highland Ave, Westport, MA 02790).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made in James's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (https://www.stjude.org) or Mae's Playground (https://www.maesplayground.org).
