He was predeceased by : his parents, Harold E. McNerney and Marie Jeanne McNerney (Houde); his siblings, Diane Stanton and Charles McNerney; and his friend Gus.

He is survived by : his children, Michael J. McNerney (Jenna Noiseux) and Hayley Moniz; his grandsons, Aiden Griffin and Logan Griffin; his siblings, John McNerney, Edward McNerney, Louise McNerney and Patrick McNerney; and his friends, George N and Chris T..
