He was predeceased by: his parents, James Henry Gray and Doris Gray (Berube); and his brother John Gray of Fall River. He is survived by: his wife Laurie A. Gray (DeCosta); his children, Jocelyn Gray (Jason Botelho) of Fall River and James S. Gray (Jennifer Gray) of Fall River; his siblings, Sharon Gray of Fall River, Donna Hastie of Fall River, Brian Gray of Fall River, Laurie Gray of Fall River and Kenny Gray of Fall River; and his grandchildren, Noah Botelho, Ava Gray, Olivia Gray and Jayden Gray. He is also survived by many nieces & nephews.
