James R. Porter Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James R. Porter of Fall River, Massachusetts, who passed away on March 30, 2026 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert M. P. and Annie M. Porter (Goldrick); and his brother Albert Porter. He is survived by: his children, Kevin Porter of Mattapoisett, Andrea Porter-Lopez (Antonio) of Portland, OR, Karen Gheesling (Dominick) of Milwaukie, OR, Marc Bertoncini of New Smyrna Beach, FL and Michael Bertoncini of Freetown, MA; his grandchildren, Diego Lopez, Xavier Bertoncini, Lily May Bertoncini, Eli Bertoncini, Jaxon Bertoncini, Tristin DiCambra and Samantha DiCambra; and his brother John Porter (Linda) of Florida. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
