He was predeceased by: his parents, Matthew J. Roberts and Julia M. Roberts (McMahon); and his brother Matthew J. Roberts Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Lorraine "Lori" Roberts (Mello); his children, Kerry E. Farias (Gabe) and James B. Vicente-Roberts (Elijah); his grandson Matthew Farias; and his siblings, Richard E. Roberts, Nancy C. Roberts and Carol A. Roberts. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
