She was predeceased by: her husband Matthew M. Szelag; her parents, Lynward W. Hunt and Gertrude P. Hunt (Kelly); her child Thomas M. Szelag; and her sister Judith Keeley.
She is survived by: her son Matthew M. Szelag, Jr..
A Mass was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph's Church (1335 N Main St, Fall River, MA 02720). A burial was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 at the Oak Grove Cemetery (765 Prospect St, Fall River, MA 02720).
