He was predeceased by: his spouse Leonilde Braga; his parents, Jose Braga and Ermelinda Braga (Cabral); and his brothers, Manuel, Alfredo and Jose Braga.
He is survived by: his children, Marcia Braga, Carlos Braga (Grace) and Ana Braga; his grandchildren, Corey Braga, Brandon Braga, Sarah Braga, Celina Braga, Alec Santos and Shauna Ferry (Andrew); his great grandchild Maia Ferry; and his sisters, Cremilde Carvalho, Ines Costa and Angelina Almeida.
