Joao Franco Pimentel Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joao Franco Pimentel of Fall River, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 14, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joao Cabral Pimentel and Maria Pimentel (Franco); and his brother Nestor Pimentel. He is survived by: his wife Alice Pimentel (Torres); his daughters, Marina D. Silva (Daniel) of Fall River and Cynthia T. De Medeiros (Romeu) of Seekonk; his grandchildren, Kyle Silva (Brianna), Jessica Silva (Johannes Toensing), Nicholas Silva, Adam De Medeiros and Olivia De Medeiros; and his great grandchild James Kyle Silva. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Silva-Faria Funeral Home (730 Bedford St, Fall River, MA 02720). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 8:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the St. Anthony of Padua Church (730 Bedford St, Fall River, MA 02720).
