He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Da Silva and Maria Jesus Da Silva (Igreija); and his brother Manuel Da Silva. He is survived by: his godchildren, Abilio Soares and John C. Mendonca; and his siblings, José Da Silva, Eduardo Da Silva and Maria Mendonca. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
