We are sad to announce that on November 30, 2024, John J. Mitcheson of Fall River, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George Mitcheson and Harriet V. Mitcheson (Cooney); and his siblings, James, Alfred, George Mitcheson, Harriet Butler, Mary Butler, Joan Gagliardi, Jane Carreiro and Rita Lindo.

He is survived by: his daughter Nancy Mathews (Mitcheson) of Charleston, SC; his grandchildren, John J Mitcheson Jr. of Apex, NC, Jesse Ghoman (Alexandra) and Jenna Winters (Collier) of Charleston, SC; and his close friend Cecelia Robbins. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours are omitted and those wishing may remember John with a donation in his memory made to the HopeHealth Hospice Center, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, Rhode Island 02904.
