He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret M.; his parents, John Rumbut and Katherine Rumbut (Enocksen); and his siblings, Marlene McMahon, Wayne Rumbut and Karl Rumbut.

He is survived by: his children, Nancy Souza (Donald) of Fall River and John Rumbut (Cindy) of Assonet; his siblings, Kae Kellams, Joel Rumbut and David Rumbut; and his grandsons, Donald Souza Jr., Joshua Rumbut (Callie) and Noah Rumbut. He is also survived by one great granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.
