It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jose C. Casado of Fall River, Massachusetts, who passed away on April 28, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Casado and Maria Casado (Sousa); his son Paul Casado; and his brother Antonio Casado. He is survived by: his children, Fatima Casado Deston (late Brad Deston) of Fall River, Sofia M. Casado Marsella (Michael) of Coventry, RI, Aida Casado Ferland (Warren) of Westport, Victor Casado (Nelia) of Westport, Leonia Casado Pacheco (Marc) of Fall River and Richard Casado (Rachel) of Somerset; his grandchildren, Brian Caton, Kaitlyn Casado, Jared Ferland, Samantha Ferland, Emily Casado, Ian Casado, Kayla Pacheco and Brennan Casado; and his siblings, Maria Conceicao Cabral of Pawtucket, Leonia Madelena of Canada, Manuel Casado of Furnas and Sao Miguel. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
