He was predeceased by: his wife Maria Georgina DeMelo (Branco); his parents, Agostinho Pacheco and Hinorinda DeMelo (Pacheco); and his sister Fatima Picaro. He is survived by: his children, Emanuel DeMelo, Maria Luciano and Lucy Pimentel; his grandchildren, Kyle DeMelo, Ashley Medeiros, Korey DeMelo, Shana Luciano, Kelsey Pimentel, Jonathan Pimentel and Jamie Luciano; his great grandchildren, Blake Medeiros, Logan Medeiros, Greyson Rodriques and Maverick Rodriques; and his siblings, Agusto DeMelo, Virgino DeMelo, Cecilia Carvalho, Filomena Santos and Carlos DeMelo. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
