He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Melo and Louisa Melo (Ferreira). He is survived by: his wife Helena Melo (Sousa); his sons, David Melo of Fall River and Daniel Melo (Nelia) of Fall River; his grandchildren, Destinie and Meghan; his great grandchild Lillian Rose; and his siblings, Antonio Melo of Swansea, Lucy Bullhose of Westport, Manuel Melo of Fall River, Ana Auguiar of Fall River and Terry Collard of Fall River. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts made to a charity of one's choice in Mr. Melo's memory, would be deeply appreciated.
