He was predeceased by: his parents, Alberto De Sousa and Beatriz De Sousa (Gomes); and his siblings, Amadeu De Sousa and Serafim De Sousa. He is survived by: his wife Maria De Sousa (Silva); his children, Jorge De Sousa (Deborah Vieira) of Fall River and Lucia D. Falcon (Mark Falcon) of Fall River; and his grandsons, Zachary Falcon and Joshua Falcon of Fall River.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 5th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the A. F. Almeida & Son Funeral Home (1309 Globe St, Fall River, MA 02724). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 6th 2026 at 8:45 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, March 6th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Good Shepherd Church (1598 S Main St, Fall River, MA 02724).
In lieu of flowers, gifts in his memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital will be appreciated.
