Joseph R. Carreiro Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 4, 2025, Joseph R. Carreiro of Fall River, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Joseph shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Joseph farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Viriato Carreiro and Herminia Carreiro (Resendes). He is survived by: his wife Natalia Carreiro (Medeiros); his children, Michele Carreiro of Fall River and Paul Carreiro of Cumberland; his brother Viriato Carreiro (Gloria) of Fall River; his brother-in-law Daniel F. Medeiros; his nephews, Peter Carreiro and David Carreiro; and his godson Nathan. He is also survived by children; and several cousins and godchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Silva-Faria Funeral Home (730 Bedford St, Fall River, MA 02720). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Anthony of Padua Church (730 Bedford St, Fall River, MA 02720).
