With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph T. Mello of Fall River, Massachusetts, who passed away on September 27, 2025 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Joseph leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Mello and Idalina Mello; and his sisters, Brenda Franklin and Donna Beland. He is survived by: his wife Anne Mello (Wallworth); his children, Monica Mello Harris of Oregon, April Mello Ramirez-Carballo of Denver, Tracy Mello (Keith Cathcart) of Fall River and Thomas Mello of New Bedford; and his sister Debra Mello of Tennessee. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.
