He is survived by: his children, Susan Banville (Lucien H. Banville) of Westport, Jeffrey Moniz of Westport and Wayne Moniz (Joanne Soares); and his grandchildren, Amanda Soares, Laura Banville-Field and Luke Banville. He is also survived by two nieces and 1 nephew.
