It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Julia M. DeSousa of Fall River, Massachusetts, who passed away on April 1, 2022, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Luis Torres DeSousa; her parents, Honorio Felix Rodrigues and Maria Isabel Tavares-Mourato; and her siblings, Maria, Esrina, Estrela, Conceicao, Emelia, Liduina, Mariana, Hortencia, Alice and Jose.
She is survived by: her daughters, Connie DeSousa Alves of Fall River and Maria Isabel DeSousa (Joaquim Santos) of Fall River; her grandchildren, Helder, Honorio, Marisa, Bruce and Luis; her great grandchildren, Kingsley, Julia, Joshua, Kailei, Luis, Allani, Kaily, Lea and Avery; and her grandchildren, Julian and Adrian.
